The Magnolia West Mustangs''s game last Thursday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They put the hurt on Terry with a sharp 33-7 win. The result was nothing new for Magnolia West, who have now won four games by 25 points or more so far this season.
Among those leading the charge was Terry Daniels, who rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries.
Magnolia West's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Terry, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Magnolia West will challenge Angleton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Terry, they will head out on the road to face off against Fort Bend Kempner at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Fort Bend Kempner is on a three-game streak of home losses, Terry a six-game streak of away losses (dating back to last season), but someone's luck is about to change.
