Softball Recap: Glacier Picks Up Seventh Consecutive Win

Glacier waltzed into their game on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They blew past the Great Falls Bison 15-3. The result was nothing new for the Wolfpack, who have now won eight matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Olivia Warriner made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off nine hits. Those eight strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, three doubles, and one stolen base.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ava Grady, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with five RBI, two runs, and one double. Karley Allen was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple.

Glacier always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .568. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Great Falls only posted an OBP of .267.

Glacier's record now sits at 14-3. As for Great Falls, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14.

Glacier wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 8-3 win against Russell on the 12th. As for Great Falls, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 19-3 defeat against Flathead on the 12th.
