On Thursday, Father Judge faced Neumann-Goretti in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Father Judge Crusaders strolled past the Neumann-Goretti Saints with points to spare, taking the game 91-77. The win was familiar territory for the Crusaders, who have now won three games in a row.
Neumann-Goretti's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Looking ahead, Father Judge will square off against St. Joseph's Prep at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Father Judge knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 16 contests -- so hopefully St. Joseph's Prep likes a good challenge. Neumann-Goretti does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
