Lewis is attempting to put the finishing touches on an outstanding career for Carrollton, which is 11-0 and ranked No. 5 nationally by MaxPreps. The Trojans play Friday in the third round of the Georgia Class 6A playoffs against Valdosta.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound quarterback has completed 77.8 percent of his passes this season for 2,842 yards and 40 touchdowns against four interceptions. He is on the MaxPreps National Player of the Year
watch list.
In his career he has passed for 10,054 yards and 136 touchdowns with a 36-3 record. He earned 2022 MaxPreps National Freshman of the Year and the 2023 MaxPreps National Sophomore of the Year honors.
Following the 2023 season, he reclassified to the Class of 2025. He was the No. 1 player in the Class of 2026 before deciding to graduate a year early.
Lewis could be in line for early playing time at Colorado. Shedeur Sanders is projected as one of the top picks in the 2025 NFL Draft. Other quarterbacks on the roster include four-star Destin Wade as well as three-stars Ryan Staub and Walter Taylor III.
