Horse Creek Academy waltzed into Friday's game with two straight wins but they left with three. They enjoyed a cozy 59-44 victory over Jefferson Davis Academy. With that victory, Horse Creek Academy brought their scoring average up to 51 points per game.
Horse Creek Academy found their leader in underclassman Kingston Hightower, who scored 22 points. The contest was Hightower's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jeremiah Tools , who scored 9 points.
Even though Wardlaw Academy has not done well against Anderson Christian recently (they were 0-8 in their previous eight matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Wardlaw Academy breezed by Anderson Christian on the road to the tune of 72-45.
Horse Creek Academy now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Wardlaw Academy, the win also got them back to even at 2-2.
