Clinton will challenge Wahlert on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps state rankings project a close game.
Clinton had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 27-14 victory over Burlington. The success made it back-to-back wins for Clinton.
Meanwhile, Wahlert suffered a grim 13-35 defeat to Central Clinton/Calamus-Wheatland last week.
Clinton's win lifted them to 2-1 while Wahlert's loss dropped them down to 0-3. We'll see if Clinton's success rolls on or if Wahlert are able to steal their positive momentum.
