The Riverside Rams''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 24-12 to Deer Park. Riverside was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Deer Park apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.
Deer Park got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Liam Bogle out in front who rushed for 48 yards and two touchdowns. Deer Park also got a significant boost from Jack Martinez, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 115 yards.
Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Deer Park, the victory was the third in a row for they, bringing their record for this year to 5-3.
Riverside will be playing in front of their home fans against Lakeside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lakeside knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matches -- so hopefully Riverside likes a good challenge. As for Deer Park, they will head out on the road to face off against Colville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Colville is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
