St. Joseph won the last time they faced McMahon and things went their way  on Monday too. The Cadets came out on top against the Senators by a score of  3-1. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Cadets.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Joseph to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Sarah Lovett, who  had 20  kills, two  aces,  and one  block. Those  20  kills gave  Lovett a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Lilly Kugit, who  had 32  assists and two  aces.
 They weren't the only good servers: St. Joseph  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 13  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least five  aces in three consecutive  matchups.
The  win  got St. Joseph back to even at 8-8. As for McMahon,  they are  on  an  eight-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. St. Joseph will  face off against  rival New Canaan  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Meanwhile, McMahon is set to  take on  their familiar foe Warde  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday.
