Wayne had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.0 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 9-8 W against the Tintic Miners.

The team relied heavily on Rj Pau'U, who went 3-for-4 while logging 3 stolen bases, 1 RBI, and 1 run. The game also marked his tenth in a row where he got on base at least two times.

Wayne took advantage of their speed and finished the game with five stolen bases. They have not posted that many stolen bases since the 19th, when they snagged seven.

Wayne has now won six of their last eight games on the road. That somehow still isn't as good as their 10-2 record this season. As for Tintic, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
