The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Gadsden County in their matchups with Godby: they've now lost three in a row.

Gadsden County struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Godby posted 11.
Godby got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Logan Cornelius out in front who scored 17 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 steals. Cornelius continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Cristina Brown, who scored 13 points along with 8 steals and 6 rebounds.
Gadsden County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Godby, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
