Sherman Indian has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge the California Lutheran C-Hawks at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
Last Thursday, Sherman Indian came up short against Chaffey and fell 58-48.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for California Lutheran, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 62-46 loss to Woodcrest Christian on Thursday.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Ethan Ash, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 10 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Boehm, who scored 15 points.
Ocean View's win bumped their season record to 0-0 while Sherman Indian's defeat dropped theirs to 4-2.
Sherman Indian ended up a good deal behind California Lutheran in their previous meeting back in January, losing 58-40. Can Sherman Indian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
