The Parkview Vikings's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Thursday after their fourth straight  defeat. They were outmatched by Camdenton on the road  and fell  88-40. Parkview was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  54-24.
 When it comes to explaining why Parkview lost, one person who can't be blamed is  Brooklynn Masten. Despite the final result, she  scored 17 points along with four  steals. That was a full 42.5% of Parkview's points, marking the seventh time in a row she's  earned more than a third of the team's points.  Rachel Leeveille was another key contributor,  scoring six points along with five  rebounds.
 Parkview dropped their record down to 1-19 with that  defeat, which was their seventh straight  on the road dating back to last season. As for Camdenton,  the  win  makes it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 6-11.
 Parkview will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 7:30  p.m.  on Monday. Central is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Camdenton, they will head out on the road to  take on  the Hornets at 7:30  p.m.  on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked  in Missouri (Hillcrest is ranked 141st, while the Lakers are ranked 153rd).
