Carroll County and Grant County are an even 3-3 against one another since March of 2015, but likely not for long. The Panthers will be playing at home against the Braves at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Carroll County is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.

Carroll County couldn't beat Western Hills on Tuesday even though they stacked five runs on them in the third inning. The Panthers fell just short of the Wolverines by a score of 8-7.

Dalten Wilson was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Ogden, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Grant County, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They never let Williamstown get on the board and left with a 15-0 win on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Braves, who have now won 13 matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Seth Tucker, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April. Colton Alexander was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.

Grant County was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .619. They are a perfect 10-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Grant County's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 15-13. As for Carroll County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season.
