The Bellefonte Raiders will head out on the road to challenge the Clearfield Bison at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Bellefonte will be strutting in after a victory while the Bison will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Friday, Bellefonte strolled past the Bisons with points to spare, taking the game 48-33. The win was just what Bellefonte needed coming off of a 75-50 defeat in their prior game.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Clearfield, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 63-44 loss to the Rams on Friday. Clearfield has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Bellefonte's victory bumped their record up to 6-12. As for Clearfield, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.
Bellefonte strolled past the Bison in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 by a score of 62-45. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bellefonte since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
