Baseball Recap: Bishop Dunne Gets the Win

Bishop Dunne proved they can win big on Friday (they won by eight) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 victory over the Trinity Leadership Tigers. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Sebastian Arellano was excellent, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-2. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Bryce Mills, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Bishop Dunne was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .444. They are 2-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Bishop Dunne's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Trinity Leadership, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
