Eli Griffith put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March of 2024 on Tuesday. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over five innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Georgia Military College is 4-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 5-9 otherwise.

Griffith's strong effort led Georgia Military College over Wilkinson County and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
