The South Sumter Raiders will stay at home for another  week and welcome the North Marion Colts at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday.
 Last Friday, South Sumter was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap  as they fell  26-20 to Hawthorne.
 Although South Sumter took the loss, they still got scores from  Bubba Boone and  Rashad Johnson. The team also got some help courtesy of  Blaine Walker, who threw for 176 yards and a touchdown.
 Meanwhile, North Marion strolled past Crescent City with  points to spare two weeks ago, taking the game  18-2.
 South Sumter's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for North Marion, their victory  ended  a  seven-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 3-1.
 South Sumter took a serious blow against North Marion  in their previous meeting  back in September of 2018, falling  44-0. Can South Sumter avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
