Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Slaton). They walked away with a 79-68 victory over the Littlefield Wildcats on Tuesday. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 78-62 win the Wildcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Slaton has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.7 points per game. As for Littlefield, they moved to 8-5 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Slaton will head out to take on Friona at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Littlefield, they will be home for the holidays to greet Shallowater at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
