They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 87-53 victory over Mooresville. Franklin Community's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
It was another big night for Micah Davis, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and ten assists. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Franklin Community's points. Grant Hunter was another key contributor, scoring 19 points.
Despite the loss, Mooresville still got an impressive performance from Aj Defur, who scored 21 points along with seven rebounds. The match was Defur's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Brevon Burns, who scored seven points.
Even though they lost, Mooresville were working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Franklin Community only racked up 23 assists.
Franklin Community pushed their record up to 10-1 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points per game. As for Mooresville, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-8.
Franklin Community will head out on the road to face off against Whiteland at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Whiteland has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 353 points over their last five games. As for Mooresville, they will be playing at home against Columbus North at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
