The Rampart Rams just played last night, but they'll still head out to face The Classical Academy Titans at 7:00 p.m. on January 19th. Rampart is hoping to put an end to a ten-game streak of away losses.
Rampart pushed their score all the way to 75 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 94-75 bruising from Doherty. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Rampart in their matchups with Doherty: they've now lost four in a row.
Rampart's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Elias Bishop, who scored 21 points, and Deangelo Smith who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Myles Chavarria, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds.

Jordan Wenger, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds and two steals, was perhaps the best of all. Wenger hasn't dropped below 15points for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Noah Osterloh, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds.
Even though they lost, The Classical Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Rampart's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for The Classical Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.
Friday's match is shaping up to be a blowout: Rampart hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having only averaged 60.9 points per game. It's a different story for The Classical Academy, though, as they've been averaging only 48.2 points per game. The only thing between Rampart and another offensive beatdown is The Classical Academy. Will they be able to keep them contained?
Rampart came up short against The Classical Academy when the teams last played back in January of 2023, falling 70-62. Can Rampart avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
