While Hereford's victory against Dumas wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Hereford narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Dumas 2-1. The Whitefaces haven't had any issues with the Demons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Noah Zamora was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one triple and one stolen base.

Hereford's win bumped their record up to 13-7-1. As for Dumas, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-10 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Hereford is set to challenge their familiar foe Canyon at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Hereford 4, Canyon 2.5) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Dumas will take on rival Perryton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
