Central Virginia HomeSchool moved up to 100 from 198 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Mid-Atlantic Christian. The Disciples climbed the ranks as a result of a 22-14 win over Maryland Christian.
Central Virginia HomeSchool extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Saints, 22-14. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.
The Disciples' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Chris Bullock threw for 37 yards and Samuel Young had 30 yards receiving. On the ground Bullock chipped in 252 yards. Jordan Deguel helped Central Virginia HomeSchool's passing attack out by catching two balls for seven yards.
Central Maryland Christian Crusaders's Dalton Will and Eli Crone have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Will has thrown for 420 yards this season, while Crone, a 5-foot-10 receiver, has eight catches for 183 yards. Central Virginia HomeSchool's Bullock leads the league in rushing yards with 776.
A big matchup in Mid-Atlantic Christian this week will be when the Disciples take on Fairfax HomeSchool. As it stands, Central Virginia HomeSchool is in first, while the Kings are in third.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Disciples take on Fairfax HomeSchool. Central Virginia HomeSchool has allowed 70 points this season, while Phil DuBois's team has given up 71. The Disciples allowed 14 points last week as they defeated Maryland Christian.
The Kings and Frederick County HomeSchool played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with the Kings eventually emerging with a 12-6 victory.
