It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Middle College Cougars can now relate to. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 64-43 walloping at the hands of the Panthers on Wednesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Middle College of the 39-38 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2017.
Middle College lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Lebron Hasan, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Josiah Anderson, who scored six points along with 11 rebounds.
Middle College's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-10. As for West Adams, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-16.
Middle College does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Adams, they will be playing at home against Carson at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Carson has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 354 points over their last six games.
