La Canada scaled the state rankings by moving to 627 from 680 this week, the biggest jump in Rio Hondo. The Spartans climbed the ranks as a result of topping Temple City 31-7.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Monrovia beat San Marino 62-21. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Wildcats.
Monrovia's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Deshawn Potts threw for 156 and 3 touchdowns and Kurt Scoby had 120 yards receiving. On the ground Scoby chipped in 242 yards. Kahlil Bradley helped Monrovia's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 33 yards.
Ryan Maddox's team's dynamic duo of Potts and Scoby proved tough for the Titans to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Bradley helped Monrovia's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 33 yards.
Scoby was a beast in the backfield as the Wildcats defeated San Marino.
He went 4-6 with 0 interceptions.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Mike Hobbie's team's Andrew Ferraco and JP Shohfi have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-1 quarterback Ferraco has thrown for 928 yards this season, while Shohfi has 19 catches for 439 yards. Monrovia's Scoby leads the league in rushing yards with 1,595.
South Pasadena took down Blair 49-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
