Memphis Academy of Health Sciences will challenge Manassas on the road at 7:00 PM on Thursday. Coming off of a win even when the odds were against them, Memphis Academy of Health Sciences have to be feeling especially confident with the MaxPreps state rankings on their side for this one.
It was all tied up at the half for Memphis Academy of Health Sciences and Northpoint Christian last Thursday, but Memphis Academy of Health Sciences stepped up in the second half. Memphis Academy of Health Sciences managed a somewhat close 6-0 win over Northpoint Christian. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Memphis Academy of Health Sciences as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
Meanwhile, Manassas took an ego-bruising defeat against Fairley three weeks ago, but they kept their chin up and bounced back last Thursday. Manassas secured a 18-12 W over Sheffield. It took seven tries, but Manassas can finally say that they have a victory on the road.
Their wins bumped Manassas to 2-6 and Memphis Academy of Health Sciences to 3-6. We'll see which team can carry over their success and which team inevitably falls when Manassas and Memphis Academy of Health Sciences clash.
