The Shore Regional Blue Devils won the last time they faced the Point Pleasant Beach Garnet Gulls, and things went their way on Friday too. Shore Regional took down Point Pleasant Beach 56-40. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Shore Regional.
Shore Regional's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Conley Smolokoff, who scored 14 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Kimi Sayson, who scored ten points along with six assists and five steals.
Shore Regional's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Point Pleasant Beach, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shore Regional will face off against Keyport at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Point Pleasant Beach on the road again on Wednesday and play against Hopewell Valley Central at 5:45 p.m. on January 17th.
