The Kehillah Rams scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They put the hurt on Pacific Bay Christian with a sharp 68-46 victory. Kehillah has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 22 points or more this season.
Ittai Kohavi continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 32 points and 12 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Bodhi Gemello, who scored ten points along with six assists and five rebounds.
Pacific Bay Christian's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brady Strickland, who scored eight points. Jordan Galicia was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Kehillah pushed their record up to 8-1 with that victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.8 points per game. As for Pacific Bay Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kehillah will take on Summit Shasta at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. Summit Shasta has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Pacific Bay Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Design Tech at 7:00 p.m.
