Greenway has gone a perfect 10-0 against Shadow Mountain recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Demons will head out to challenge the Matadors at 4:00 p.m. Greenway will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
While Greenway's victory against Bradshaw Mountain wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Demons had just enough and edged out the Bears 6-5.

Madison Bailey made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over seven innings while giving up five earned runs off six hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Isabelle Chandler, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Bella Morris, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs.
Meanwhile, Shadow Mountain fell victim to Paradise Honors and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Panthers, falling 18-0. The Matadors have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Shadow Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Greenway, their record is now 6-4.
Monday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Greenway has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .526. However, it's not like Shadow Mountain struggles in that department as they've averaged .533. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Greenway's way against Shadow Mountain when the teams last played back in April of 2025, as Greenway made off with a 19-0 win. Will the Demons repeat their success, or do the Matadors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
