North Summit has been on the road for three straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the North Sevier Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
In what's become a running theme this season, North Summit gave their fans yet another huge victory on Saturday. They blew past San Juan 61-28 on the road. Given North Summit's advantage in MaxPreps' Utah basketball rankings (they are ranked 15th, while the Broncos are ranked 115th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
North Summit got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Chezlie Langston out in front who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds. Langston hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for 11 straight games. Hayzlyn Murdock was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, North Sevier beat the Bulldogs 45-35 on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for North Sevier.
North Summit's win was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-2. As for North Sevier, their win bumped their record up to 9-11.
Everything came up roses for North Summit against the Wolves in their previous meeting back in January as the team secured a 61-15 victory. With North Summit ahead 34-7 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
