Burton Adventist Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Chisholm Trail Academy Blazers 79-36. One positive for the Angels, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Chisholm Trail Academy found their leader in sophomore Max Castro, who went 11 of 17 en route to 28 points and eight steals. Castro's evening made it nine games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jadon Henderson, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 boards.

Burton Adventist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Chisholm Trail Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Burton Adventist Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lakehill Prep at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th. As for Chisholm Trail Academy, they will face off against Yavneh Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
