There's no place like home for Mayde Creek, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Paetow Panthers on Friday, sneaking past  3-2. The  win was a breath of fresh air for the Rams as it put an end to their five-match losing streak.
 Mayde Creek wouldn't go down easily and took Paetow into a fifth set  where they got it done with a two-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-16, 22-25, 20-25,  18-16.
Mayde Creek's offense was headlined by  Isabella Gomez and  Serenity Williams, who picked up 12 kills apiece. They got some help from  Autumn Wimberely and her 36 assists. Gomez also made an impact serving:  she shared the team lead in aces with  Kaleah Lee, each putting up five.
