Oxford proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 38) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won a contest that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by the Pinson Valley Indians 41-40. The win continues a trend for the Yellow Jackets in their matchups with the Indians: they've now won three in a row.
Oxford's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Aj Ford led the charge by picking up 139 receiving yards and three scores.
