Sahuarita is undefeated when Martin posts three or more passing touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise. Jhaden Williams was Martin's top target, picking up 66 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
With the defeat, Douglas broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-5. As for Sahuarita, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-3.
