Sadly, the Star Christian Academy Golden Tigers are still looking for their first win of the season after six matchups. They were outmatched by Father Capodanno on the road and fell 65-27. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Star Christian Academy has scored all season.
Father Capodanno found their leader in underclassman Jonah Marsh, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Braedon Hudson, who scored six points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Star Christian Academy dropped their record down to 0-6 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Father Capodanno, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-15 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Star Christian Academy will take on Falcon Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Father Capodanno, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Scotland Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on February 12th. One thing working in Scotland Christian Academy's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 12 games.
