The Central Bulldogs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They really took it to Lebanon for the full four quarters, racking up a 90-54 victory on the road. Central has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 22 points or more this season.
Lebanon lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Wyatt Carr, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and four blocks. It was the first time this season that Carr posted two or more blocks. Caleb Ray was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six assists.
The victory was the fourth in a row for Central, bringing their record for this year to 17-5. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.3 points per game. As for Lebanon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central will take on Camdenton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Central's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last nine matchups. As for Lebanon, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Waynesville at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully Lebanon focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Friday.
