After flying high against Banner County last Friday, Hyannis came back down to earth. The Longhorns took a 47-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mullen Broncos on Thursday. Hyannis now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Mullen, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
Hyannis wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 58-33 loss against Wallace on the 12th. As for Mullen, they will be home for the holidays to greet Anselmo-Merna at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
