Manual found their leader in sophomore Caylei Walker, who rushed for 147 yards and one TD on only 15 carries, and also threw for 156 yards and three touchdowns. Walker also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making four total tackles and defending three passes in addition to snagging an interception which she returned for a touchdown. Dayjah Fox was another key player, picking up 90 receiving yards and a pair of scores.
Manual's defense made their presence known, laying out Kera Turner three times. In that department, Kayla Villena was the leader with two sacks. Walker got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
The victory was the third in a row for Manual, bringing their record up to 14-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 45.7 points over those games. As for George Washington, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.
Manual has already played their next matchup, a 48-6 loss against Pomona on the 18th. George Washington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
