The Winner Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 23 points or more this season. They breezed by Chamberlain on the road to the tune of 58-17. That 58-17 margin sets a new team best for Winner this season.
Winner's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Keelie Kuil led the charge by scoring seven points along with four steals. Kuil is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Cici Watson was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Winner's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Chamberlain, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 4-2.
Winner will be playing in front of their home fans against Todd County at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Todd County will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps South Dakota Rankings (they are ranked 98th, while Winner is ranked 29th). As for Chamberlain, they will head out on the road to face off against Crow Creek at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Crow Creek will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
