Basketball Recap: Bradshaw Christian's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Bradshaw Christian had lost three straight headed into Tuesday's match, but Ethan Rickert didn't let it get to four. The Bradshaw Christian The Pride came out on top against the Vacaville Bulldogs by a score of 53-44 on Tuesday thanks in part to Rickert, who went 8 of 11 on his way to 20 points and three steals. Those 20 points gave him a new career-high.

The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Fitzpatrick, who posted ten points and six rebounds. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Bradshaw Christian's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Vacaville, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Bradshaw Christian will be taking part in a tournament against Aspire Langston Hughes Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bradshaw Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.8 points per game this season. As for Vacaville, they and American Canyon will meet in a canine-themed contest at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Vacaville is facing American Canyon at the right time seeing as American Canyon is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
