Pine Tree had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. Everything went their way against the Cumberland Academy Knights as they made off with a 9-3 win. The Pirates not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since February 20th (when they won 11-1).

Pine Tree's victory bumped their record up to 8-9-3. As for Cumberland Academy, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.

Coming up, Pine Tree will face off against Chapel Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cumberland Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
