There's no place like home for Hoquiam, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Friday. They put the hurt on Forks with a sharp 42-13 victory. That result was just more of the same for the Grizzlies, who also won the last time these teams played (Oct. 26).
Hoquiam's offense had trouble getting into gear in the first half and closed the half with zero points. Forks couldn't get anything started offensively, either, which meant the halftime score sat untouched at 0-0. The offense for Hoquiam put that tie to bed by coming up with 42 points in the second half to win the game.
Hoquiam's Dane McMillan was one of the most active players for the team as he picked up 68 yards on the ground on five carries and accumulated 122 passing yards.
The win bumped Hoquiam's record up to 6-3. Forks is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5. Both of these squads appear to have finished up the season, as they have no upcoming games scheduled.
