Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 49-21, which was the final score in Hancock's tilt against Picayune on Thursday. Hancock was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-0.
West Jones pushed their record up to 10-0 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 40.0 points per game. As for Hancock, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-3 record this season.
