The Bishop Moore Hornets will head out to challenge the New Smyrna Beach Barracudas at 9:30 a.m. on Monday. Bishop Moore is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.6 goals per game this season.

Things were looking good for Bishop Moore after they put the first goal on the board on Wednesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Winter Springs by a score of 3-2. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Winston Weibel wasn't going to let Winter Springs walk away unscathed as he scored both of Bishop Moore's goals, bringing his season total up to five goals.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, New Smyrna Beach was forced to settle for a draw. They and University finished up their match with a 2-2 draw last Thursday.

Bishop Moore's loss dropped their record down to 4-2-1. With that draw, New Smyrna Beach's record moves to 3-0-1.

Bishop Moore came out on top in a nail-biter against New Smyrna Beach in their previous matchup back in January, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hornets since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
