The Morse Tigers will venture away from home to  challenge the Fallbrook Warriors  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Morse is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6  runs per game  this season.
Last Friday, Morse didn't have quite enough to beat Canyon Crest Academy and fell  6-5. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Camryn Salvador was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 2-for-4 with one  triple, one  run,  and one  double. That  double marked the first that  she  hit this season.  Beyah Salvador was another key player,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
 Camryn wasn't the only one working in the  hit department: Morse  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. This was only their first loss (out of three games) when  they post 11 or more  hits.
 Meanwhile,  there's no place like home for Fallbrook, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Friday. They had just enough and edged out San Diego  8-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  victory the Warriors have posted  since April 18, 2024.
 Morse now  has a losing record of 3-4. As for Fallbrook, they now  have a winning record of 3-2-1.
 Morse was able to grind out a solid  win over Fallbrook in their previous meeting  back in March of 2024, winning  6-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Morse since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
