Perez was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Tanner Hunka was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Jamie Nauman, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.
Veritas Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Brentwood Christian, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 16-4.
Veritas Academy will head out on the road to face off against Vanguard College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Brentwood Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hill Country Christian School of Austin at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
