Kutztown has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the Brandywine Heights Area Bullets at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Kutztown suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Saturday. Their rough 71-50 loss to North Schuylkill might stick with them for a while. While losing is never fun, Kutztown can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 632nd, while North Schuylkill is ranked 288th).
Meanwhile, Brandywine Heights Area was beaten by Fleetwood 75-42 on Monday.
Kutztown has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. As for Brandywine Heights Area, they bumped their record down to 4-10 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home.
Kutztown strolled past Brandywine Heights Area in their previous meeting two weeks ago by a score of 71-54. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kutztown since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
