In the two sets Minooka was on fire: they won each by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-10, 25-14.
Minooka can attribute much of their success to Kira Cailteux, who had nine digs and two aces, and Maddie Dostall, who had six digs and four aces. What's more, Dostall also racked up no blocks, the mostshe's had since September 13th.
Minooka was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved they're ace total in three consecutive matches.
Sandburg's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Minooka, their victory bumped their record up to 10-7.
