Northeast Early College had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.8 goals) and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Florence Buffaloes a 7-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won 13 matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Northeast Early College's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those four games. As for Florence, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-16-1.

Coming up, Northeast Early College will welcome Jarrell at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Northeast Early College knows how to get goals on the board -- the team has finished with four goals or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Jarrell likes a good challenge. Florence does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
