Morgan is 8-2 against Ogden since December of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Morgan Trojans will head out on the road to square off against the Ogden Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Morgan knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past eight matches -- so hopefully Ogden likes a good challenge.
Even though Ben Lomond scored an imposing 58 points on Wednesday, Morgan still came out on top. Morgan snuck past Ben Lomond with a 63-58 victory.
Meanwhile, Ogden had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They came out on top against Grantsville by a score of 68-58. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Morgan now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Ogden, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.
Morgan came up short against Ogden when the teams last played on January 10th, falling 74-65. Can Morgan avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
