Marquez will be defending their home turf for the first time on Thursday when they go up against Santee at 4:00 PM. Keep an eye on the score for this one : both teams put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up.
Marquez were fully in charge last Friday, breezing past Monroe 46-0.
Meanwhile, everything went Santee's way against Victor Valley last week as the team secured a 35-0 win. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Santee had established a 28-0 advantage.
Their wins bumped Santee to 1-1 and Marquez to 3-0. With both Santee and Marquez swaggering in after impressive performances, it will be interesting to see which team steps up to teach the other some humility.
